Robert S. Uithoven

Biography

Robert Uithoven is currently a Partner at Axiom Strategies, the nation's largest political consulting firm. With over 25 years of experience in political campaigns and public affairs advocacy, Uithoven has served as senior advisor, strategist, general consultant, campaign manager and other senior level positions on many political campaigns, from City Council up to U.S. President. He has also worked on numerous statewide ballot initiative campaigns.

Uithoven served as a registered lobbyist in the Nevada State Legislature through 7 regular sessions and 10 special sessions, representing entities such as Las Vegas Sands Corp – the largest gaming company in the world, as well as the the Adelson Family, the National Rifle Association, Uber, and many other companies, industries, and associations.

Prior to joining Axiom Strategies in 2021, Uithoven founded Nevada-based political and public consulting firm, j3 STRATEGIES, from 2007 to 2021. During his career at j3, Uithoven served numerous clients across the economic spectrum, specializing in private sector interests, as well as dozens of candidates for elected office. Most recently, Uithoven served as a senior advisor with Never Back Down, the SuperPAC supporting Ron DeSantis' presidential campaign. In 2022, Uithoven led the successful campaigns of Nevada Lieutenant Governor Stavros Anthony, Nevada Controller Andy Matthews, and City of Henderson Mayor Michelle Romero. He previously served as a senior advisor on the Donald J. Trump for President re-election campaign in 2020.

Prior to the 2020 presidential campaign, Uithoven served as the Western Regional Political Director for the Ted Cruz for President campaign, overseeing ten states in 2015-2016, helping secure victories for Cruz in Alaska, Idaho, Wyoming, and Utah.

In 2014, Uithoven ran the successful campaign of Adam P. Laxalt for Nevada Attorney General, and previously, the successful campaigns of former U.S. Congressman and Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons. For decades, he has been active in the Nevada Republican Party, as well as in numerous county and GOP clubs, helping recruit and elect candidates, register voters, and support ballot measures backed by conservatives in the Silver State.

Uithoven previously served as the Nevada Republican Party's Finance Chairman, and served as a Delegate to the 2008 Republican National Convention in Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Uithoven currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Morning in Nevada PAC and spent over a decade serving on the Board of Directors of the Keystone Corporation in Nevada. Previously, Uithoven served as the Vice-Chairman of the Northern Nevada Chamber of Commerce’s PAC Board and as a member of the Nevada Taxpayers Association, the Nevada Policy Research Institute, and as a 2007 appointee to the Nevada Economic Development Advisory Board. He also served two terms on the Nevada Private Investigators Licensing Board, first appointed by former Governor Jim Gibbons, and re-appointed by Governor Brian Sandoval. In addition, Uithoven served as a Trustee for the Joshua L. Anderson Memorial Foundation.

Uithoven currently lives and is based in Tampa, Florida, where he is married to Nicole (Dagostino) Uithoven, and has four children - Jeremy, Joshua, Joel, and Avery.
